Seeking a Professional HR Generalist/Office Manager to help support growing Call Center. This is a 5-6 month contract position.

Successful candidate will handle all areas of HR for the company and work with management team to provide office management and support. Successful candidate will have a solid HR background and will provide HR support in all areas including recruitment, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, payroll and records management.

Candidate will help conduct new hire orientation, process paperwork, maintain HRIS system, and employee files. Will assist with the processing of payroll, employee terminations, employment verifications, and unemployment claims hearings. Will provide information and guidance to employees and managers in areas such as company policy, payroll issues, benefits administration and other employee relations issues as needed.

This position also serves as the office manager for the organization ensuring the effective and efficient administrative and office functionality. Will help manage office vendor relationships Will assist with special projects, and additional duties as required

Responsibilities include:

Implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for compliance with relevant legal, regulatory requirements for new and existing employees
Manage the new-hire process including new-hire paperwork, drug-screens, background checks, e-verify, granting building access, etc.
Assist recruiting including management of process from job posting to on-boarding
Payroll processing including terminations, job changes, and yearly review adjustments
Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, new hire enrollment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
401k enrollment and plan education
Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database. Responsible for HR Records Management.
Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations concerning employment, including FMLA, COBRA, ADA, OSHA, FLSA, worker’s compensation, and Immigration and Employment Authorization.
HRIS analytics and support
Responsible for HR Records Management.
Organize company events and community service

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 or more years of relevant work experience
Office Management experience
Texas Employment Law as well as a Generalist background
Requires overtime and weekend work as needed for the office

Pay: $25.00 per hour
